Annual Report of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, presented on 3rd February Sunday 2019 on the occassion of carnivals 2019.

I pray to the almighty to bless our Chief Guest, Founder President, Honorable Correspondent, Beloved CEO, Respected Members of the Sai Sudhan Educational Trust and Managing Committee, Learned Staff, Kind Parents and My dear students.

I wish to share my great pleasure in presenting the annual report of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar to this august gathering.

In the year 2016 our school was launched with only 25 students and 4 teaching staff. Today, 431 students with 36 staffs the school has grown in to a mighty Educational Institution in Thiruvottiyur with the divine blessings of our Bhagawan.

The Annual report 2018-2019 comprises of three major categories namely Educational, Spiritual and Service activities. Academic year 2018-2019 saw innumerable activities and achievements on all the three categories owing to the constraint of time that we have today, let me only reflect upon the most rewarding ,exciting and heartwarming points from each categories now.

Academics

Academic excellence has always been our strength. The implementation of exemplary ideas to cater both the high scores and also the favorites has always enabled us to create new bench marks, year after year. Identifying and nurturing the high scores right from class 1 and specialized care to coach the favorite students to ensure they improve in their studies is the secret of all our achievement in academics. I appreciate the teachers for raising the bar and setting a formidable target every year to make our students excel in their studies.

Spiritual

Spirituality is the spine that helps us to stand tall with principles and values that gives us an identity of a Sai School. Ganesh Chathurthi, Varalakshmi pooja, Krishna Janmashtami, Dashara were celebrated with devotion and significance of each festival was brought out beautifully by the students. Sai Bhajans and Villaku pooja are also organised at residence of school parents.

Including the human values through every activity is the key factor involved in making of Sai Students.

Independence day, Republic day, Teachers day, Children’s day, Wonder day were some special days of the year.

Service

Manava seva, Madhava seva, Jana seva, Janardhana seva…. Charity begins at home is what they say accordingly, students contributed materials which are good in condition to be used for poor to needy during the RAK week (i.e.)Random act of kindness week.

► Nithya Anna Seva (i.e.) food for around 100 people on a daily basis is distributed at the entrance of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar.

► November 23rd for Swami’s birthday on oldage home was visited by our students with essentials donated in surplus, hospital patients were provided with food, street dwellers with bedsheets and government school children with competition, prizes and sweets. The school has adopted a nearby government school providing free computer class and abacus class. On Diwali an orphanage was showered by gifts, presents, essentials, crackers by all students .A blind home was also visited with gifts in plenty.

Our students have Mediclaim Insurance coverage provided by Star Health Insurance through which 5,20,000 in total was claimed last year by students who were hospitalized.

Offering all our hardwork and prayers at Bhagawan’s lotus seeking his divine blessings for our future endevours too.
